Sunday is a day of celebration at St. Cuthbert’s as we gather to worship God and to connect with one another.
We dress casually for services and everyone is encouraged to stay for refreshments afterwards. Our worship centres on celebration of the Holy Eucharist, also called Holy Communion or the Lord’s Supper. Everyone is welcome at the Lord’s Table and all baptized Christians are invited to receive the sacrament of bread and wine. Many members of the congregation assist in leading parts of our worship services.
Weekly Services

8:00 am Sunday Holy Eucharist, Book of Common Prayer. A quiet celebration without music, using traditional language.
10:00 am Sunday Holy Eucharist, Book of Alternative Services. A family-friendly celebration in contemporary language, with music. A children's program is available during this service.
10:00 am Thursday Holy Eucharist, Book of Common Prayer. A quiet, intimate celebration.
9:00 am Tuesday to Friday Morning Prayer. A 20 minute service - a great way to start the day!
We have additional services and programs at Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter. Throughout the year we hold a variety of social events, including two fairs, a spring picnic, a fall barbeque, Carols with Friends and a Pancake Supper before Lent. Check out the "What's On" section of this site for more details.
Steeped in the Anglican choral tradition, our choir and congregation also enjoy an eclectic musical repertoire. Through our music ministry we share God's word through song and help to lead the congregation in worship. The choir often collaborates with the choristers of Leaside United Church and the Anglican Church of St Augustine of Canterbury for special seasonal celebrations in Advent and Lent. The choir is a dedicated and talented group of musicians who strive to share their love of singing and gift of voices with others. They meet each Thursday evening (September through June) starting at 7:30pm for rehearsal. New members are always welcome - an audition is not required, just a love of sacred choral music!
