Reaching Out
Our outreach activities include supplying food to the St. Peter’s Church Food Bank, supporting the Flemingdon Park Ministry and participating in building projects for Habitat for Humanity. We also support affordable housing initiatives, the work of the Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund and other international projects.
Adult Education
We offer a variety of opportunities for spiritual growth and education. Bible Study and discussion groups meet from September to June. Additional education programs are offered during Advent and Lent. See the "Learning Opportunities" section of this site for more details.
For Children
Children are welcome at all services. During the school year children from preschool to grade six may attend ChurchKids classes at the 10 am Sunday service. Visiting children are welcome at ChurchKids classes (on their own or with their parents). Nursery care for children three and under is provided downstairs during the 10 am service.
For Women
A number of women’s groups are part of the St. Cuthbert’s community, with activities on weekdays or evenings. The Anglican Church Women (ACW) is a focus of Christian community of all Anglican women, affirming their talents and encouraging their ministries through worship, learning and service.
For Youth
A youth group for ages 12 to 17 meets regularly, and members may assist during worship as servers. Confirmation classes are offered for those wishing to affirm their baptismal vows.
Special Events
Throughout the year we hold a variety of events, including two fairs, a spring picnic, a fall barbeque, Carols with Friends and a Pancake Supper before Lent.
We are redeveloping our website and adding new information regularly. Please check back again soon.
